University of Evansville Institutional Equity Team

The University of Evansville has implemented a number of initiatives since the fall of 2018 to ensure that we have an environment that is open and welcoming for our entire campus community. As part of these ongoing efforts, we created a new Office of Institutional Equity and implemented new policies to ensure that reports of sexual misconduct, harassment, or discrimination receive a prompt, equitable, informed, and procedurally fair response and investigation. After conducting a national search for a team to oversee our Institutional Equity and Title IX efforts, we are pleased to announce the following appointments beginning Monday, August 26:

Keith Gehlhausen will serve as the Executive Director of Human Resources and Institutional Equity. Expanding on his role as the University's Chief Human Resources Officer, Mr. Gehlhausen will also provide leadership for the University’s prevention programs and processes to receive, assess, investigate, and resolve concerns of inequitable treatment of individuals, including management of investigations and resolution of complaints for all forms of discrimination, harassment and, retaliation to effectuate prompt, effective and equitable intake, investigation, processing, issuing of findings of fact and timely resolution.
